Data Lakehouse is a data platform that collects and integrates structured and unstructured data from all enterprise sources, including real-time data (e.g., from point-of-sale checkouts), into a single, scalable environment. The data is organized, cleansed, and enriched with business rules to be queryable by reporting and advanced analytics tools, enabling big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence use cases and reducing storage costs.
The Lakehouse approach combines the flexibility of data lakes with the reliability of data warehouses, enabling the management of large volumes of information in a governed and secure manner.
